Campsite

Red Rock Wild campsite (or Graig Goch in Welsh) is nestled under the Margam Mountain – just 5 minutes away from the amazing Margam Country Park. The campsite includes a 4 acre field plus a 5 acre woodland area which has its own fire circle and dens for children to explore.

We are ideally located just a few minutes drive from junction 38 of the M4, between Cardiff and Swansea.

There are some simple swings and log steps to enjoy. The campsite is located within walking distance to Margam Park (our next door neighbour!). Margam Park is an amazing 800 acre deer park where there are a large number of beautiful walking trails and mountain bike tracks to explore. There is also water sporting activities, along with the cultural and historical buildings including Margam Castle and Margam Abbey to experience.

Ideally Located

The Red Rock Campsite is situated on a working farm,  which is a truly beautiful and peaceful place. This also means that we have plenty of local produce available, plus plenty of farm animals for you to see including sheep, cows, chickens, horses, and our beautiful border collies, Rex and Spot.

The local Asda Supermarket in Pyle is only a 5 minute drive away, should you require any food or supplies. There is also a local shop in Margam Village which is even closer.

Facilities

We have a woodland communal fire pit which is ideal for meeting other campers and to toast marshmallows over the fire. The campsite has 2 fully functional toilets in a steel container close by, plus a portaloo in the woodland area and a washing-up area. In the Summer months, you can also enjoy a hot shower.

BBQ’s and fire pits are allowed as long as they are properly supervised and raised off the ground.
